What Is Swell?
History Of The Word Swell
Throughout the years between the 1930’s and 1960’s the word SWELL was popularly used to describe something good or great. Since then there have been many trends that have come and gone. Words like groovy, far out, rad, awesome, cool, fresh, or dope were used in a similar context. Today words like gucci are used.
Why We Are Swell
It is true that all of these words may be similar to the word SWELL. However, the word SWELL is the only word that also depicts an increase in size. How can you get any better than a word that describes something good or great that also depicts something that is growing in size? We thought about Swell Contractors and the name just fit.
Old School Craftsmanship
People often refer to others who do things or say things the way people used to do as being “old school”. Back when the word SWELL was in use, suburban communities began to grow. The mid-century modern house that has gained popularity today was probably built by a SWELL contractor back then.
Swell Contractors is a painting company that represents that old school craftsmanship in providing great work that will grow equity for Atlanta homeowners who value a high quality image.
